Sports Therapy

Since qualifying as a Sports Therapist I have worked with my local rugby club, at Gateshead International Stadium, at the Duridge Bay 10 K run and the Great North Run.

I am passionate about all my therapies but especially Sports Massage as I have seen the tremendous difference it has made to people, even after long term injury. Me and other therapists at Duridge Bay 10 K run

Other Treatments

In addition to Sports Therapy Massage and Reiki I can now offer you Swedish Massage and Remedial Massage.

I also have a qualification in Acupressure / Seated Massage which is often used by employers for their staff, to reduce stress and encourage well-being.

I have lived in Alnwick, Northumberland for 20 years. While working in the health service I was introduced to Homeopathic medicine, which I used on many willing friends with great results.

In 1991 I started a four year part-time course in Homeopathic Medicine at the Northern College, Gateshead. It was a long, hard slog, but well worth it!

I have never really practiced as a Homeopath because my two children came along and took up my time and energy, but I kept my hand in using remedies with their childhood illnesses and treating friends with various ailments.

In 2005 it was suggested that I would be very good at Reiki...

What on earth was this newfangled thing I thought..?

But as the saying goes, "When you are ready, the teacher will appear."

I found a lovely lady near Berwick who is a Reiki Master* and I studied and completed the foundation level ~ Reiki 1. I found that it was such a wonderful therapy to do that a few months later I went back, studied and completed Reiki 2, the advanced level, which enables me to practice on people outside my friends and family.

* one who is able to attune another to accept the Reiki energy.

I have since gone on to study massage specializing in Sports Massage and am a past member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA). Well respected among sports clubs and athletes the SMA regulate courses and therapists.

Reiki is one of the gentlest therapies I have found. It is non-invasive and I love the reaction of people who have just had Reiki for the first time, especially the 'non-believers'.

Reiki is energy healing.

Energy healing is very safe and very effective. Other forms of energy healing are Chinese medicine, reflexology and homeopathy.

More relaxing than a good night's sleep! Lifted my spirits so high it made me laugh! A wonderful experience.

Very relaxing, warm and enjoyable. Judith definitely has the magic touch! When can we do it again?

Reiki re-balances the body

I always think of a child's spinning top...

When spun correctly the top spins well and is in balance. When the top slows down it becomes unsteady and unstable. Our body's energy needs re-balancing otherwise we become susceptible to illness and disease.
